Full Stack Developer

Description

We are looking for a full-stack software developer to help us build a serverless cloud-based connectivity platform to enable real-time connectivity between medical devices in the field and care providers. The primary focus will be to design and develop the serverless backend, comprising of databases, server functionality and RestAPI architecture, as well as preliminary prototypes of various front-end websites. You will be working with a cross functional team comprising of marketing and product managers, mobile app developers and firmware engineers.

DUTIES

AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and architect a serverless architecture that meets the immediate marketing requirements and enables future enhancements.
- Design and document a RestAPI interface to support communication and synchronization needs between clients and backend.
- Design and develop preliminary front-end websites that provide demonstratable functionality as defined per marketing requirements of the project.
- Coach and facilitate integration activities of backend into various clients, including Android and iOS apps and front-end websites.
- Facilitate and design around security considerations Design interfaces to improve user experience

QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering
- At least 5 years' experience with full-stack development, preferably serverless architectures. Specifically seeking past experience with developing and hosting HTML/JavaScript websites, designing and implementing backend database integration, and implementing backend functionality in Node JS - Some experience with AWS Amplify framework and/or specific AWS serverless features, such as DynamoDB and Incognito
